For the developers, we provide instructions on how to configure their development environment to work with our API and an ever-expanding library of sample code that shows them how to make certain actions happen, like creating a subscriber in an account or sending an email.This approach works for developers working on a specific project - what developer doesn't love sample code? But just looking at sample code makes it easy to focus on specific tasks and not realize the entirety of what ExactTarget can do and where the developer fits in. To help show developers what the ExactTarget system can do, we've included documentation that outlines basic functions most ExactTarget customers want to perform, and we cross-link our developer documentation with the marketer documentation to make sure that both sides understand the task at hand and what needs to happen.
