Resources To Help You Get The Most Out Of AMPscript

Avid users of AMPscript already know what it can do - it's a scripting language you can embed within ExactTarget HTML emails, text emails, landing pages, and SMS messages. Even avid users need a reference, though. And new users (who should most certainly take advantage of this flexible tool!) require the necessary resources to help them take advantage of the robust AMPscript functionality. We recently reorganized our AMPscript documentation - take a look at what we have available for you:

AMPscript Syntax Guide - the AMPscript Syntax Guide shows how to write your AMPscript. It also contains an alphabetical list of functions, so you can find a specific function quickly and easily. The child pages of the AMPscript Syntax Guide also outline the available AMPscript functions by functionality, such as Utilities, Content, and Data Extensions.
Getting Started Guide - If you are brand new to AMPscript, check out the Getting Started guide. It starts with a simple AMPscript example and gradually adds complexity to it so you can get a full understanding of how AMPscript works.
Using AMPscript with the Web Service API - Advanced users can make their AMPscript work in conjunction with the Web Service API to create more powerful applications that leverage the full power of ExactTarget's functionality.
