One of Celebrity Cruises’ recent campaigns focused on transforming on-hold bookings into reservations with an automated email campaign. The campaign saw a double digit percent boost by triggering custom emails to potential travelers featuring their preferred destinations, cruise dates and ship.
Powered by ExactTarget’s integration with Adobe® SiteCatalyst® via Adobe® Genesis™ and partnered with interactive marketing services provider, Acceleration, the campaign uses travelers’ browsing history on Celebrity Cruises’ website captured in Adobe SiteCatalyst to automatically create and send a personalized ExactTarget-powered email to travelers 72 hours after placing the trip on hold. By directing the potential guest back to the Celebrity Cruises website and including personalized destination information, the company is driving an improved consumer experience.
Celebrity Cruises extends the campaign by further leveraging the ExactTarget-Adobe Digital Marketing Suite integration to power personalized emails to travelers’ post purchase and pre-departure that feature additional custom offerings and information about onboard luxuries and port activities.
