How many people can honestly say that they love coming into work on Mondays? I can! And so can more than 1,300 of my closest ORANGE friends here at ExactTarget.
Maybe it’s the casual dress code, or the gorgeous offices we work in across the globe (decorated in stunning orange, of course). Maybe it’s the collaborative, fun, and rewarding work environment. Whatever the reason—and there are so many great ones—working at ExactTarget is more than just a job.
One of the reasons I love coming to work on Mondays is that I like to think that I have the best job in the company—finding great talent to add to our growing Orange family. Partnering with hiring managers across the company (and the globe) to identify and assess talent, and helping make strategic hiring decisions is my daily task. Meeting potential employees and sharing what my 5-year ExactTarget experience means to me is extremely rewarding. Candidates are interested in the company growth, product offerings, and job responsibilities—but most importantly, our Orange culture. Treating people well, being easy to do business with, and having an entrepreneurial spirit are just a handful of the core values that make ExactTarget a great place to work.
And there’s no better feeling than the thrill of offering a candidate the opportunity to work at ExactTarget. In fact, I have lost count as to how many times a candidate has told me that I just gave him or her the job of a lifetime! Back in February 2008, I was one of those candidates. I remember vividly when my now-colleague, Shannon, offered me a position on the ExactTarget recruiting team. For me, it has truly been the job of a lifetime.
