Orange culture manifests itself on the Legal team through my spectacular mentors. I work with a small team, but from day one I immediately felt like a valuable member of the group. Even After my first day meeting the legal team and learning about their careers and the work that they do, I knew I wouldn’t want to leave ExactTarget at the end of my internship.
In my experience, it’s rare to feel completely at ease around a group of individuals whom I also respect and admire highly. At ExactTarget, that rarity is the norm. Whether it be my boss, another employee in the snack room, or an executive board member, everyone takes time to make me feel like I belong and they’re are happy I’m here.

Orange culture manifests itself on the Corporate Communications Team through our relationships with each other. Whenever I have a meeting with another person on my team on a Monday, they don’t just ask “How was your weekend”, they ask “How was that concert you went to?” or “How was visiting your family?” The members of my team take interest in who I am, and take the time to get to know me. Our friendships help us all to work better together. Knowing that my co-workers are also my friends makes it easier for me to ask for help because I know they genuinely want to help me succeed. When they need something from me, I want to help, and it never feels like an obligation.
With a work environment like this, I look forward to coming to work every day. I know that I’m going to walk through the office and be greeted by co-workers. I know that throughout the day, I’ll have enjoyable conversations with the people who sit around me. I know that I’ll speak with my manager" and that it will be a good conversation.
