You may know about 3sixty, ExactTarget's online user community. But have you heard about 3sixty Live? We launched it late last year as the in-person extension of 3sixty. 3sixty Live promotes face-to-face connections between ExactTarget users within their own communities. Not only do the members network with each other, they exchange tips, tricks and best practices, as well as help shape the future of the ExactTarget application.
3sixty Live communities are taking flight across the country! Chicago was established first, and Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Denver were next. Minneapolis and Los Angeles are close behind. Building a new 3sixty Live community is an organic process. We connect enthusiastic ExactTarget users to help them develop strong community connections and valuable learning and sharing experiences. The users run the show, so each group is different. Most hold monthly meetings, with continuous virtual conversations in between. On June 16th, the Chicago 3sixty Live community held its monthly meeting at Scoozi! Italian Restaurant. The group was excited to welcome ExactTarget's own Joel Book as a special guest to present The New Dynamics of Sales and Marketing. In the discussion, Joel showed how several of the country’s top brands - such as Scotts, Whole Foods, and Volvo - are using email, mobile, and social media as the “Triangle Offense” of their strategy to accelerate marketing and sales performance.
After Joel's presentation, the Chicagoland ExactTarget users enjoyed chatting with each other over hors d'oeuvres. It's really something to see clients from such outstanding companies, like Cars.com, Threadless, Navigant, Apartments.com and CME Group, not only sharing their ExactTarget experiences, but also just having a good time after work. 3sixty Live allows ExactTarget users to meet people who understand their interactive marketing challenges and successes - and that's a powerful advantage.
