ExactTarget’s first release of 2013 is now live! We’re constantly hard at work behind the scenes to deliver new features, improvements, and enhancements across all product lines. Here are three things that went live with this release that you could benefit from (or might just find interesting):
1. Distributed Sending = Empowerment
ExactTarget Distributed Sending is an easy-to-use application accessed via the Interactive Marketing Hub. It delivers an email marketing solution where corporate can provide email templates, images/logos, subscriber lists, and more for local marketers to use.
End users are able to create, deliver, and track their email campaigns. It enables you to market effectively while keeping the corporate brand consistent.
2. Less time waiting, more time connecting: Faster load times on UI pages, messages, and keywords in MobileConnect, plus a new dashboard layout
Faster results and functionality is the name of the game for MobileConnect. Our team is working diligently behind the scenes to enable customers with faster load times on UI pages, messages, and keywords.
You also might notice some changes to the MobileConnect Dashboard. In order to make room for the newly released Mobile Digital Playbooks, the Message Stats grid, and Keywords, grid have been stacked on top of each other in the top left corner. Although the layout has changed, the functionality of both is still the same.
3. Look good (no matter what) with ExactTarget SocialPages Smart URLs
You need to look good--even when your customers are on the go! Smart URLs allow users to view Facebook Tabs from any device--desktop, laptop, smartphone, or tablet--by recognizing what device is being used and displaying content appropriately.
Visitors to a tab using a desktop or laptop computer will be able to view the standard version of the tab on Facebook, while smartphone and tablet users will be redirected to the mobile version. Smart URLs are great for customers who want to ensure their content can be easily viewed and accessed no matter what the platform.
