VIVID, the annual Festival of Lights, Music and Ideas was on last month in Australia's arguably best city -Sydney! Creative entrepreneurs, digital marketers and businesses were invited to showcase their ideas, products and talent to over half a million unique visitors, through Vivid Sydney's vast array of tourism hospitality marketing, networking, sponsorship and experiential programs.
Through creating interactive and memorable experiences, Vivid Sydney was able to create a viral marketing storm that resonated across Facebook, Twitter, Email, YouTube and several other social channels. It is these experiencies that VIVID created, which allowed for their core message of 'Light, Music & Ideas' to spread like wildfire.
Not only does VIVID rely on consumers to actively spread their content, they have an incredibly experienced social media team that executes a multi-channel and social marketing 101 strategy - one of these channels being Twitter. VIVID utilise twitter for business (@VividSydney, #VividSydney) as the gateway to their brand in the digital space. Their team is active and responsive to all social media requests, allowing them to accelerate the conversation consumers are having with their brand, online and offline.
