Every year, we develop a theme to guide our company. 2012 was the year of "Inspiration" -- and it certainly delivered. In March, we were so fortunate to complete one of the largest SaaS IPOs in history. Ringing the opening bell on the floor on the New York Stock Exchange was an incredible moment and milestone for our company. Going public was the culmination of twelve years of extraordinary hard work (and great fun) by so many amazing people -- and most importantly, provided us with a springboard to more product innovation, strategic acquisitions, global expansion and focus on client success.
We are incredibly grateful to our clients -- thousands of amazing organizations and talented marketers who leverage our technology to drive their business. Together, we are literally blazing new trails and inventing the future of digital marketing. From email to SMS and push notifications to Twitter and Facebook to delivering personalized experiences on the Web, we are redefining how organizations build relationships, deliver relevant and compelling content and move the wheels of commerce. What an incredibly exciting opportunity.
Many are now discovering what we have known for 12 years -- marketing is about relationships, conversations, and measurable results. Marketers will lead this transformational shift in how businesses interact with their customers. And technology investment will follow suit -- offline marketing budgets shifting online, marketing, and sales collaborating like never before, with the customer voice being central to everything.
