Earlier today we announced that we have acquired mPath Global in Australia, giving us an incredible foundation to serve our more than 150 clients throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region. By acquiring mPath, we will enter the market with a tremendous base of customers and the opportunity to introduce marketers across the region to an entirely new approach to interactive marketing.
At the helm of our new Australia operation will be a familiar face to the ExactTarget family. Chris Gartlan, CEO and founder of mPath, will lead our efforts as the managing director of ExactTarget Australia and will help lead our accelerated investment in the market. In the coming months, we’ll invest aggressively in smart growth throughout the region to serve our clients and expand our services to marketers.
