Although I haven't been blogging about email marketing lately (OK, I admit it..I've been missing in action). I have been busy - I've been trying my hand at being "social". I've been focusing mostly on Twitter. I can't say that I feel like I have all the answers on when to update what and where, but I am learning. I am fascinated by some of the recent case studies of companies that have demonstrated the best (and worst) uses of social media.
For the average small business, incorporating social media can be truly daunting task. Which social media outlet to update? One? All of them? For small businesses with a marketing staff of one - how on earth do you plan, execute, and track the normal everyday marketing campaigns in addition to all of the social outlets.
