What is the difference between a Tab

is the Social Graph different from Open Graph? Marketers ask us these questions all the time and with
help from folks at Facebook, we put together a Glossary to help you
master the newest Facebook marketing concepts. We hope you find it
useful!

Actions and Action Response “AR”
There are a variety of actions within Facebook Ads or Pages
including when a user clicks “Like”, “RSVP” or selects a custom
action. Another way to think of actions is to think of the
traditional “Call-to-Action” like click, call or download. AR

Here's what you MUST know about B2B Social Media and how
to measure its effectiveness.
Social media use by B2B companies increased substantially in 2011.
According to the Business Marketing Association (BMA), 89% of U.S. B2B
companies are now using some type of social media to attract and
engage buyers. But while some B2B companies are reaping huge
benefits from social media, others are struggling.
Some B2B companies have found that professional networking sites
like LinkedIn are an effective way to generate leads and influence
decision-makers, while other companies find Facebook, Twitter...

In the past year
@ExactTargetUK has spoken to hundreds of companies
about their Social Media strategy and about social marketing.
It’s true to say that each conversation has been very
different and each company has their own unique views on how they
should be seen Socially. But there are an increasing number
of companies who realise that, whilst Social Media forms part of
the Marketing and Sales functions, all parts of their business have
something to gain from being part of this strategy. When we
discuss what Social media means to our clients, one of the first
point of call is what do...

Google+ - It's All About Relevance
I am very excited to share my first thoughts and impressions after
using Google+ for the last few days. Also, as an email
marketer, I want to focus on how this will impact businesses and
what it means for the world of email.
So far, I love the concept of circles. Some people on the
Internet are saying it's too complicated, and people will never use
it, but I've found it very intuitive. I have yet to look at
any of the Help videos, and I've only glanced at the Help
documentation, yet everything seems to be where you would expect it
and work the way you would...

By now the stack of case studies showing how social media can
cause huge disruptions for companies is fairly large. Yesterday it
seemed like yet another example would be added to the list.
At 11:30am a well established 'mommy blogger,' @crissy, tweeted
a post from her blog, Dear
Crissy, calling out Toyota for a shady email pitch she
received.

The email came from MommyNetworks.org and it offered
bloggers a chance to "score" a $10.00 Amazon gift card for helping
to spread positive news about Toyota. The email provided links to
positive content about Toyota and asked the bloggers to rate, share
or...

One of the biggest thrills was meeting so many people who are

favorite one was a user who came up to me at the booth, gave me a
huge hug and thanked CoTweet for making her job extremely more
manageable. She walked away with a CoTweet T-shirt and a few

I
was fortunate to attend and be a guest blogger for the
Master of
Business Online Conference (MBO) an interactive marketing
conference hosted in Indianapolis. In addition to meeting some
great people, I also heard from a lineup of informative

Here are 5 nuggets of information that I took away from the
conference.
1. One
Strategy with three mediums – Often companies think of
their blog, SEO efforts, and social media separately. All three of
these can be effective inbound marketing strategies, however when
combined together you can make a bigger impact.
2. It is all about the data –

As
email marketing and social media marketing efforts continue to
increase, creative and enterprising marketers are looking for new
ways to harness the power of both. Instead of viewing email and
social media marketing as competing, marketers are discovering
the ability of
email marketing to boost social presence.
The most common uses of an email-social marketing combination
include tweeting email newsletters on
Twitter and emailing blog posts to
subscriber lists. Additionally, organizations can include calls to
action in emails, inviting subscribers to share, follow and tweet
information.
Both...

of the presentation. During this time, Morgan and Jeff addressed
some of the current buzz that’s occurring in the industry and set
the record straight on some ideas that you might be fighting in
your organization. Here’s a quick summary:
