I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Ann Handley, Chief Content Officer for MarketingProfs and author of Content Rules, as part of our continued focus on Inspired Marketing Predictions for 2013. Our conversation covered a number of topics, which we will share in several posts in the coming months.
During the interview I asked about the future of marketing, and I loved her comments about where marketers should be focused in the coming months/year.
What's next in marketing?
"I feel like we need to be really good at what's now. Social media has been around for a really long time and some companies get it and some companies do not."
